Eligibility and Referrals
To access our services, a referral is required. Here’s what you need to know:
- Referral Required: Yes, if the patient’s insurance requires it
- Who Can Refer: Your primary care provider (PCP) or attending physician
- When to Seek Care: As soon as a wound is identified—early intervention is key to better outcomes
What to Expect as a Patient
We strive to make your experience as smooth and informative as possible. Here’s what you can expect:
Your First Appointment
- A detailed history of your wound (duration, previous treatments, etc.)
- A full wound assessment
- Cultures taken if needed
- Debridement and dressing application
- Education on how to care for your wound at home
Follow-Up Visits
- Weekly appointments to closely monitor healing
- Adjustments to treatment as needed until the wound is fully healed
