DEA National TakeBack Day Event

Help keep medications out of the wrong hands by safely disposing of unused or expired prescription medications during DEA National Take Back Day. This FREE community event provides a safe and convenient way to remove unwanted medications from your home while helping prevent prescription drug misuse and protecting the environment.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the RMH Hometown Pharmacy parking lot, 157 W. Foster Heights Road, Rushville. Community members are encouraged to bring unused prescription medications for proper disposal.
In addition to medication collection, SHARES, Inc. will be on-site providing document shredding services, and Brew On 2 will offer coffee, drinks, and baked goods available for purchase. This event is sponsored by Rush Memorial Hospital, the Rush County Health Department, the Rush County Sheriff’s Department, and SHARES.
