“Winter Wonder” in Batesville, Indiana is a free 200-foot lighted drive-through tunnel with over 100 lighted snowflakes. It is located in the Village Green parking lot. The tunnel will be up until Feb. 28.
The “2022 Mysterious Winter Hike Series” is being held in Brown County State Park. Led by park naturalists, these hikes take visitors to little know areas of the park, introducing them to historical features that include “manmade lakes that were started but never finished, an old village with many homesteads and even to a large boulder perched high in the tree tops.”

Museum admission is free on Feb 21, President’s Day but tickets are required. They may be reserved beginning Feb 11 at 9 a.m. Tickets go fast, so be sure to sign up early!
The Shipshewana Ice Festival and Chili Cookoff will be held in Shipshewana, Indiana Jan 21 and 22. Have you ever wanted to see how ice carving is done? At the Shipshewana competition, ice carving experts create incredible sculptures that are as beautiful as they are short-lived. Chili tastings add some heat to what could be a very cold day.
